Jack Shaw

Jack was called to the Bar in 2026, having been admitted to the legal profession in 2024.

Prior to his call to the private Bar, Jack practised as a solicitor and, before that, served as Deputy Associate to her Honour Judge Firth of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia (Division 2), where he gained valuable insight into the judicial process and the practical realities of family law litigation.

Jack maintains a practice at the private Bar primarily in all aspects of family law and also practises in domestic violence matters.

Jack is an active member of the family law community, currently serving as a board member of the Family Law Practitioners Association, where he contributes to initiatives supporting the social and professional development of family law practitioners.

Jack holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Business from the Queensland University of Technology.
