Rebecca Horsley

Rebecca was called to the bar in 2014. 

Rebecca is a Nationally Accredited Mediator, Accredited Arbitrator, and Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner. 

Rebecca served as President of the Family Law Practitioners’ Association of Queensland from Nov 2022 to Nov 2023, having been appointed to various roles on the board and executive for the ten years preceding that. She was Immediate Past President until Nov 2025.

She remains a member of the family law committee the Bar Association of Queensland, and was a member of the same committee within the Australian Bar Association from 2018 to 2025.

Rebecca was admitted as a legal practitioner in 2008, practicing in family law as a solicitor until 2013.  She maintained specialist accreditation in family law through the Queensland Law Society from 2013 until June 2023, at which point the accreditation scheme was closed to barristers.
